When Last They Met

An offensive explosion helped the Lords breeze past the Gators last season 37-7. Picking up a staggering 439 yards of total offense, the Lords were led by Kenyon Sr. RB #5 Brandon January, who ran for 143 yards and one TD on just 10 carries, and Jr. Co-Captain QB #13 Jake Bates, who completed 8 of his 10 passes for 156 yards and a TD.

Going into this Week

Facing a nationally-ranked opponent for the 2nd straight week, Kenyon fell to #14 Wittenberg 49-7. Allegheny didn’t fare any better, taking a beating from DePauw in a 59-7 loss.

By the Numbers

412- rushing yards conceded by the Allegheny offense last week against DePauw.

4- games in which Jr. Co-Captain #24 Alec McQuiston has logged 10 tackles or more.

1- yard rushed for Allegheny last week against DePauw.

Players to Watch

Kenyon So. DB #15 Jack Hanratty

The speedy sophomore always stayed one step ahead of opposing receivers last week, preventing Wittenberg from converting on any big-play pass attempts. Hanratty and the Kenyon secondary will need to lock down on coverage once again this week, eliminating mid-range completions as well in order to keep the Gators out of the end zone.

Allegheny Fr. LB #44 Nick Murgo

With less than one year of collegiate play under his belt, Murgo has been a driving force for the Gator defense. Leading the NCAC with 43 solo tackles, Murgo will look to clog up any openings in the defensive line and make January, Calcei and Beaudoin earn every yard.
